One of the by-products of restricted-rate and split bracket events is the emergence of talent at somewhat specific, individual levels. We here at AZBilliards are, as a result, adding new names to our database all the time. Previously, on regional tours and at independent events, there’d be a ‘base’ crew of competitors, supplemented by a set of local-to-a-room players, and a sprinkling of ‘first timers,’ who’d trade wins and other-place finishes across a schedule.
