With Joshua winning in Vegas, does Fedor's backers still want some?

You're talking the best players on the planet, for us, I hope they want it.JF playing 9 ball - nobody wants that, NOBODY! Playing 10 ball, I don't know

The break is the difference and Fedor has to be the favorite 10 ball

Because they are racking by hand instead of with a template, so naturally the ball spread will be less consistent. Their goal is to make the head ball in the side pocket.
 
Im guessing one of the reasons they aren't playing big money sets is it doesn't make sense from a backing standpoint. They are pretty close to 50/50 on who wins, but then the winner gets a cut. Use 50/50 winner money split as typical, though that can be negotiated. It's a bad bet to take Gorst/Filler to only win $50k when you can lose $100k. Those odds I'd rather roll dice and have a chance at winning $500k
 
ding ding your mostly right on.

however no sane backer(oxymoron) gives out 50% for any one match or play to the shooter. unless its a cold steal and the only way he can get down. if they did they wouldn't be around long.

a smart backer(oxymoron) and there may be none of them, would only do a near 50 split after all expenses taken out, and past makeup. say after a month or more worth of good action, or so many plays agreed upon.

Sounds great but I don't buy it. Templates didn't exist not all that long ago and nobody broke from the rail except players who were mad at their backer as Danny D would say.

Consistent spread? Again, don't buy it. The balls all wind up on one side of the table pretty often when you break from the rail, not every time but often. Exactly how is that good for the breaker whose objective is to control the table and ultimately run out.
 
Sooo Filler vs Shane, anyone would like to see this? 10-ball with a template rack, race to 120.

After the final's performance, it's hard to imagine anyone wanting a piece of Joshua in current form in any rotation game.

the predator aero rack is atrocious and half the predator refs are EPBF and used to donut template racking

Gambling... I think Fedor has the edge. He'll be ready to roll

Tournament play...it always looks like Fedor is exhausted in the finals of tournaments. Playing world class pool and running a successful Ghost business while at the events, keeping up on the social media...might just be too much. Especially in a sport that is already draining mentally.
 
Fedor vs Filler has the chance to be one of the biggest matches ever if its marketed correctly. Any losses from backers could easily be covered, at least partially, from stream sales and advertising.

Race to 150 for 500k or 1 Mil. Split it up between 3 days like the Shane match. This is what i'd like to see.
