Fedor’s “new” chalk…

Anyone at the expo got an idea how much he’s selling that for?

It’s just rebranded “Hola Champion” chalk…

From 3$ a piece on Taobao to… “place your guesses here”

I'll stick to the Pagulayan, by the time I'll go through the 4 pieces that I have, we'll probably have new tech that does not requires chalk...
I am using the pagulayan Alex gave me. But I’m not short of a lifetime supply of chalks… 😂
Lucky enough people give them to me, otherwise I’d use whatever’s at the hall tbh

yeah not sure how Pagulayan could be improved upon but I agree. I bought 2 pieces at first. Immediately lost one in the first hour. Bought 3 more pieces and that was nearly 2 years ago, still on my first piece. Stuff grabs like crazy and is clean as can be. Barely need any.

The first half of mine wore down quicker than the chalk I was using previously, but seems to hit the point of either an optical illusion or infinity, as I feel like I have been at half a cube for an eternity now. Got 4 cubes of the blue one, and really see no reason to switch. Grabs nice, it's clean.

I have the green and the blue but I feel like the blue doesn’t stick as well. I put it back in the box but maybe I’ll try it again.

He just gave me blue, so I went with it. Works well on my break, jump and playing cue. It's softer than the chalk I replaced it with, but not discernibly messier.

I felt that way about the Taom V10 blue vs green
Funny enough I’m actually using the v10 on my playing cue now and the green Pag on my break cue. I do think most of my issues came from the last tip I was using though, I was dealing with glazing issues like crazy.

if your opponent doesn't use taom-style chalk, and the banger that played on the table before you didn't use it, you may as well not use it either. the benefits of removing skids (which seems proven) really only work if everyone uses it. until it becomes pool room standard i'll stick to masters..

This was tried multiple times, at least one that I've seen 10 years ago was trying to use a special tip with a microscopic surface similar to that of gecko feet. It didn't work.

Chalking is such an ingrained part of the game and PSR that I don't think I would want a chalkless tip even if it did work as good or better than using chalk.

Composite shafts didn’t work at first either
