Savannah “The RoadRunner” Easton using a wood shaft?

I told you my skill level in how we run racks, actual play. then you brought up a website fargo something that was made up few yrs ago here on the internet.

For your second question, Kaci being #1 if he switches to CF? No I wouldn't know for sure because there are many other CF players out there still playing.....Now if all of them switched to wood and Kaci was the only person on Earth playing with a CF revo 12.4 or 12.9, then yes he would be the #1 every single year for sure.

But since there are many top players using CF, then one of the best ones will still be the #1 in the world every single time until one wood player lucks it in just one time and after that the guys who play with cf will come back and keep winning every single time after that. Now given all those players CF will improve their game, still the best ones will wood will ultimately become the best in CF and will keep that skill-gap level up, if you get what I mean.
Kaci did play with CF but switched back to wood.
The benefits of CF for a pro touring player are not in performance, they are in consistency and durability, the shaft will play the same regardless of humidity and other weather conditions, it'll stay straight and won't get dings and scratches, and the backup shaft will play the same as the main shaft when needed.

Yes there is added power (sorry... better energy transfer) but pros don't need it on tournament tables with new cloth and balls. And you can get low deflection from wood shafts, heck wood LD started the whole performance thing...

I know that, he probably didn't like the sound or feel and then went back to wood. He used the 11.75 revo which isn't a good option in my opinion a CF should be 12.4+ to have the affect of perfecting your timing and improving your gameplay automatically.

The thing with Kaci, he went back to wood and will remain at that level forever, because he did not like the sound or feel....it's his loss - he's a great champion though, lots of champions still use wood and thats fine, they will win at some points in life but they will not dominate.

Domination will remain in the hands of pro's that are as skilled as the wood users above but did switch and love their CF, the likes of Filler, Fedor, Yapp and Shane....the list is long but ill stop here. - I'd also like to mention Yapp's game jumped to a whole different level with his new 12.6mm Universal CF which is an absolutely insane shaft, ive tried it myself.

Carlo Biado switched to a Revo (temporarily) and it didn't make his game better

Actually, Yapp's biggest achievements in the past year were with a wooden shaft, before he switched to CF again. (He used CF, went back to wood and now back to CF - different type)

Not really he was struggling, he was a great player with a bit of struggle that wins sometimes very rarely. I've been following him since he first started...now he's a different player, competely.

He probably switched for few days and went with the same thing i've said in the first post.

"Oh i didnt like the sound" or "I didn't like the feel" -- these guys usually hit one inside english shot and then miss it with a CF and go something along the lines of "Oh with wood I make this everytime with feel, i'm probably a wood player", its the ultimate thing that prevent them from advancing to the higher tier, biado would probably dominate the entire world if he switches with convection...but if he go with it for few days and go "no no i dont like the feel", then he'll be stuck in the past, winning tournys ofcourse cause he's great but very rarely, maybe one big tourny a year, instead of what he would have do if he switches, he'd probably dominate with 5-6 tournys a year.

Somebody please help me with my understanding of all this.

If every pro that uses a wood shaft switches over to carbon fiber - they would all dominate?

i have not read any posts in this 131 so far post thread...
it started with savannah using a wood shaft with a question mark
as the title of the thread
whatever she used in her last tournament should answer the question
could someone give me the short version on why its 130 posts later and still going
thanks in advance

Not sure about the first 100 or so posts (even though I think I have one or two in there ;)), but that last 30 or so is smoochie saying if Eklent Kaci switched to CF he would be the number one player in the world within a year.

Could be psychological too. I've heard people generally play better if they switch to different equipment, something about hyper-awareness. Could be it makes them focus on their fundamentals.

Yapp has like 8 different shafts that he swaps around frequently, sometimes between matches and sometimes even between racks.

Smoochie will say if he sticks to just one CF shaft, maybe he will win 4 WNT titles in a row instead of just 3 😂😂

You need to seek help brother.

Everything you have said in this thread is pure conjecture and your own opinion, nothing backed up by facts. You are claiming to know what pro players are thinking in their head. If you can provide any kind of statistical data to back up your wild claims, maybe people will take you seriously.

CF absolutely does not make someone a better player. There are opponents I have played against who were using CF shafts and they could not spin the ball or execute some shots that I can with my shitty wooden Z3 shaft.

You make wild claims and then catch an attitude when people question you, as if we should just accept what you are saying as 100% fact. Fk outta here.

Yeah, there is just no proof whatsoever that Carlo Biado, Ko Brothers, Seo Seoa, etc. would be better if they switched to Carbon.

Predator's wood shafts are low deflection anyway. A Revo performing marginally better on a maximum squirt test is very unlikely to have any meaningful impact on performance.
