Tell me why this is a foul in 9 ball, please.

Savannah Easton is up to shoot on the 5 ball and has been pretty badly hooked behind three other balls. She goes three rails into the 5 which then hits the side rail and comes to rest. So why is this a foul?

huh?? 5 clearly hit a rail. the ref made the call as soon as she hit the cb. She moved the 9b, you gotta slow it down to catch it.

Yep and the timing of the ref's call also gives it away. Whew, thought I was going crazy there for a moment.

foul was called before even hitting the 5 so my guess she touched the 9
can't see it the cameras just switched and she was blocking the view

I guess I was distracted the first watch, must have looked up as I sipped my beer and when the eye returned it appeared off the rail. Viva la beer!!!

Her stick hit the 9 ball she was tree topped over. Its all ball fouls in this event.
