If a gun was put to your head to choose one player to pocket a difficult shot for you, who would you choose?

It's close between:
  • Filler
  • Shaw
  • Earl
  • Worst (from the stories I've read)
  • Trump
  • Dennis Orcollo
Also, I have an Earl story. One time I was watching a young Earl (21-22) practice before a match. For some unknown reason, he started shooting out of a corner jaw to a ball in the middle of the table exactly straight into the far corner. He was jacking up way more than he needed to and hitting it as hard as a break shot. I don't know why he was doing that. He probably shot that shot 20 times and probably made 17 or 18. It was scary weird to watch someone shoot that hard and that straight while jacked up out of the corner and be that accurate.
I have a similar story. I was at the US Open in the early 90s and watched Earl warm up. He repeatedly shot the shot you described, except that he drew the cue ball back to the end rail (and I don't remember him missing any of the shots).

So my choice would be Earl in his prime. Incidentally, I heard Jim Wych in an interview say that he would choose Earl to shoot the shot if his life was on the line.

My self. Then when getting out my cue I would look for a chance to take the guy out with the stick or anything else. I am trained in the martial arts. Not that hard to avoid a person with a gun and get the best of him. Might not even get to having take out the cue depending on where and how he is holding the gun to my head.

The new Reacher.
I was referring to him. Whoever cast Tom Cruise in the movie was a moron. All I can say is I like the tv show, but he can’t act for crap unless he’s beating someone up. Now he’s pulling a sex abuse card from when he was a young model to explain beating up his neighbor. If you keep your mouth shut for 20 years, maybe you aren’t remembering the details.
