Most people in the current Cleveland, Ohio pool scene are good people, and not thieves. Speaking for the 9 foot table community, I'm not aware of one person who I would think would steal a cue from someone.

I've been playing over 60 years and gotta ask, is that different than the 10', 8', or 7' table communities?

people steal because the punishment isnt enough to deter them. that is why they pick and choose who to rob. those that dont are the scary ones.

I strongly disagree.

There lies a right and wrong in sportsmanship; and it has never been up to debate. One does NOT steal from a fellow sportsman. It’s simply unacceptable.

WOW I'm TOTALLY SHOCKED a pool player did something slimy or bad or disrespectful or downright evil to someone. Who would ever guess this bad thing could ever have happened?!!?!??

I've known hundreds of them over the years and I can confidently count on 1 hand(no thumb) the truly honorable men I've met in a pool room. Just is what it is.

Wow, now I am confused as to which "community" I even belong to since I have a 9' table at home and play mostly on 7' away from home and will not shy away from playing on 8' tables when given the opportunity.
