Bergman - now a carbon shaft - not usual kielwood?

Noticed a while back Bergman was using a carbon fiber shaft. Last time I talked him at a tourney, he was really happy with his kielwood shaft. Did a sponsor change his mind? I haven't been around him to ask.

For quite some time he used a Bob Danielson shaft on a Lomax butt. I don't think he used a vikore if he did it wasn't for long. Using a siege cf now.

Using a siege cf now

The $500 Viking Siege carbon fiber is Viking's lower-priced CF shaft compared to their $600 Whyte Carbon Fiber Performance, the $675 Fedor Gorst Triple 60 FG57, or the $750 "full custom Whyte Carbon fiber shaft".

Bergman wrote on Facebook in June this year that [Viking had gone] “above and beyond, out of their way to help me get to play with something familiar” ... and that “until now I have never found a cue that hit as good as my Steve Lomax and Bob Danielson Kielwood shaft”.

Viking CF Siege beat out kielwood and Whyte Carbon.

I wondered, too, but watching the Table 4 stream on wnt.tv, I couldn't tell if it was a different shaft than his usual kielwood, or just the shit lighting.

I saw Justin play a guy in person a few years ago and they gave Justin a high deflection wonky cue as part of the spot and he still just played exactly like he plays, LOL, and it was on the BIG table (Diamond).

they could, but not to their max potential, its just not healthy...they ofcourse can bring it back

but lets be honest here, staying with one equipment and not fiddling/changing all the time is probably the right choice for the pro's, some snooker pro's stay with one shaft for their whole career and I kept hearing stories about Stephen hendry, and some other big names where they played flawless with their one shaft that they're used to their whole life and the moment it broke and they were forced to switch, their game was never the same. It's there on youtube somewhere you can find it.

I think same theory goes for pool also, to a certain extent. I believe if a player keeps fiddling/switching their equipment, in the long-run it isn't great for them. Just look at Styler, this kid keeps changing weights/shafts/butts like it's a candy flavors, and look where that got him...amirite
