Most of you know Bob from his posts here, so I'll skip the intro. Sat down with him for about an hour to pick his brain.

Some of what we got into:
  • The ripped ferrule in 1980 that accidentally gave him a low-deflection cue before anyone sold one
  • Why a ball sinks about half an inch into the cushion
  • His answer when asked for hidden gems (there aren't any)
  • The 80% rule behind the Billiard University Runout Drill System
  • Why only about one student in ten practices between lessons

Bob's course info and handout are at sfbilliards.com. Anyone here run the full 15-level Runout system? Curious what level stopped you.

Great interview Jeremiah.
It is interesting to learn what Bob has done and learned on how to adapt to different students.
I appreciate the effort to put this together.
