Anyone Charge For Table Time On League Night

I run a local BCA league in Ontario, Canada. Our team divisions are on Sunday/Tuesday's and we pay '$6.25 per player / $18.75 team / $37.50 match' per night in green fees. These were negotiated in advance of me starting up the league/divisions. I have never had an issue in paying green fees as long as the playing conditions are kept up. Players don't like it, don't play!

Do a two beverage or one meal minimum per league player per night? That way you are only making an additional request for the league players that just drink water, or don't order anything at all, while the rest of the league players are supporting you as you expect?
I don't think forcing people to buy your food is a good business practice...If your food is good and fairly priced it will sell itself to those who are feel like eating. If you have a good room you will get regular customers from the leagues.
