This is just my personal opinion, but WNT should just concentrate on growing and working with a group like the GB9 Tour and helping grow the scene over there. Clearly so many more world class level players are emerging in Europe so putting their efforts there would yield better results as a return. But that's just me being speculative without knowing how well the WNT is doing.

Raxx is arguably the best pool hall in NY and the bar tables are taken quite seriously, I would say there's overlap.

They are pristine Diamonds and have the same CPBA cloth.

There's also been a gradual sea change from classic Valley style bar tables to Diamond bar tables with 4.5 inch pockets, I would say bar tables in NYC are maybe 2/3 of the former and 1/3 the latter.

BTW, I wanted to just add something to this. What's with the idea/thought that only bar table pool is the only thing that exists in this country? Sure, there are way more bar tables than 9 footers, but the majority of the players playing anything on the bar tables belong to leagues in which their business model is not 9 foot tables.

My point is, there are plenty of well upkept rooms with 9 foot tables out there. In the NYC alone we have so many big tables that anyone can setup a tournament on them. Hell, we have two well established tours here and they always usually get 30+ players in their weekend tournaments. Not to mention there are many league nights where big table 9 ball is the main attraction.

A US based 9 ball tour can be done, but it would take someone with deep pockets, good business acumen and networking abilities to sustain it.
