I need a little help identifying this Gold Crown

I am not quite following the specs here....Measuring on a (RKC converted GCII) measuring at the outermost mouth I get a 4.4something but that may be my lousing measuring so we will round off to 4.5.....The throat is only 2.5 in total length....The rubber pocket Tip to Tip is 3.5 (which is the full 2.5" throat length........at a 2" depth down the throat (which is basically the shelf ledge) the width is 3.9something so again I will round off to 4.........A ball is about 2.25.........From a 4.5 to a 2.5 width there would seem a ridiculous cut angle.....IMO.

Again...I am no "expert" on this stuff...IMO I think it should just be standard...two balls wedged won't go....whatever those official measurements might be.
I don't have a clue what you're talking about or trying to measure. 'Rubber pocket tip to tip'??? WTF is that??? AGAIN: the only measurements used for pockets is: 1.Mouth width. This is the distance across the points. 2. Throat width(NOT length). Measure 2" back from the cushion noses/points. 3. Shelf depth: from the center of the line across the points measure back to where slate drops off. There is NO 'two balls wedged won't go' as a measurement standard. You are making this WAY harder than it is. https://billiarduniversity.org/documents/BU_table_difficulty_factor.pdf

Relax....breath......In my opinion the (standard) measurement for pocket opening....whatever that comes out to be should be (based) on 2 ball widths....not multiple different sizes.....IMO ....I am NOT implying that is what the standard is...I just think it should be...but of course I won't be invited to the round table that makes that decision....

The rubber pocket tips are the most forward points on the rubber pocket Inserts....(on my table they measure 3.5

You said in your previous post.......the throat width properly cut should be 2.5....(if the mouth is 4.5)...I can't see very many, if any standard pool tables having a 2.5" throat opening....Especially if the Mouth width is 4.5.....(see your post #35)

BTW - thanks for the link(y)

the rubber pocket tips might be close to same as throat but that's not where you measure. look at DrDave's graphic in the link. opinions, anyone's, on how a table is measured really don't mean much when there are clear/established measuring methods. Just do a TDF measurement of your table. Its a really good way to clock just how tough/easy a table is.
