Keilwood shaft order

I’m wanting to order a keilwood shaft. I’m kind of frustrated at this point. I’ve reached out to several makers of custom shafts, with extremely mixed results I spoke to one semi custom cue company to get a quote. That was a week ago. The lady asked me to send her pictures and I did. She said I’ll have you a quote by the end of the day ,well seven days later I’m still texting for a quote and mind you this is a company that is supposed to have excellent customer service. I spoke to another that told me a week which seemed extremely short. Here is what I’m looking for. I want more of a long pro taper, not really interested in one of the dark, dark roast shafts. Really like the idea of coring the end of the shaft with lighter wood such as balsa and a shorter ferrule. I understand it will not be super low deflection, but that’s not necessarily what I’m looking for. Solid and consistent is the name of my game. I’m looking for recommendations with a solid turnaround time, great reputation, and honestly an excellent playing shaft. looking for one that hits solid but not stupid stiff post some recommendations and personal experiences with makers thanks in advance.

I recently bought one that was made with a tight growth ring (maker called it old growth) and it was done in a honey color. Comes out darker in pictures than in person and it’s been absolutely incredible. After long discussions about customization to what I wanted I went with his recommendation regarding the ferrule and just chose my own tip. Hands down the best feeling and shooting shaft I’ve tried yet.

Hi I've recently bought a Hayakawa dark roast kielwood shaft infused with bornon. Its a great shaft that the maker says is as low deflection as a Revo. Bought it thru Adam-ny.com

Reach out to Bill Lister down in FL. I’ve had him make me some kielwood shafts to match various cues and they have all been fantastic, fairly priced, not a long wait, and performance is absolutely top notch. You won’t be dissatisfied!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I saw this video of Crossroad cues with Douglas Moore whom I have never heard of (sorry if I should have), but his marinated kielwood sounds interesting

Who sells this?

Is that the problem in finding a custom cue maker---the cored-out shaft? Here are cored-out kielwood of either solid core or ten-splice versions. I suspect the carbon fiber inside, however, does not produce the softer hit you want.
