With the exception of the radial, which use a 5/16 and also a 5/16 reamer is recommended.not trying to reinvent the wheel but.... does anyone have a chart for Drill Bit Size, for example does 3/8 radial, 3/8-10, 3/8-11 all use a 5/16 drill bit?
asking for a friend! lol

The other 2 depends on who made the screws.
If they made the right size hand taps from the get go, maybe people would have had the screws made the same.Yay, cuemakers! Attempting to undo 185 years of thread standardization for absolutely no good reason!
3/8-10 is not .312" and 5/16-14 is usually better with a letter F drill, so .257"
I only copied the chart for TC9Ball Its from Prather so I would go to their website and straighten them out. I heard they make cues also3/8-10 is not .312" and 5/16-14 is usually better with a letter F drill, so .257"
That might be true, but it's still wrongI only copied the chart for TC9Ball Its from Prather so I would go to their website and straighten them out. I heard they make cues also

If you do .312" for a regular 3/8-10 pin, like a McDermott, that's gonna be a very loose fit indeed. For a 3/8-10 Modified pin, it's only 4 thou off, but still the point of that pin is to live thread shafts with an accurate minor, so you get a perfect fit.
All that being said, why not spend a day in the shop, take a few shaft blanks that didn't meet expectations, cut them into 2" and 3" pieces and play around with the minor and tap H grade and see what you think works best, when you are happy, write the specs on the side of the piece and save it for future reffrenv
