    Help! Valley table identification

I've seen that style of ball return before, but i don't know the brand. IIRC, the coin mech was in the space next to where the balls come out. I agree the corner castings were probably swapped out, notice the metal trim along the rails is missing. probably wouldn't fit back on with the valley...

    Cue identification please?

The butt has a threaded insert inside the ferrule, and the stud appears to be threaded directly into the wood of the shaft. That wouldn't work well, if it was installed the way you suggest. If there is a threaded insert in the shaft as well, then yes i agree.

    Please help identifying this table.

the cost and work involved in converting to slate would be extremely prohibitive. In my opinion, leave it as is. the sentimental value of the table "as is", far outweighs any theoretical benefits of changing it.

    Best balls under $100

I'd sell you a new set of Aramith crown standards, but shipping costs would probably negate any savings... i want to get a set of the dynaspheres.

How do you heat your pool room ?

Not sure where you're located... but those radiant baseboard heaters are pretty common in apartments up here in Minnesota. as long as there is sufficient power (require 240v), they do a good job. The permanent mount ones can be chained together along one wall, and wired to a thermostat. Don't...

    Fargo Billiards is closing?

Fargo (town) never shut down for Covid. I was up there in August for a funeral, and all the bars and restaurants near West Acres were packed. it was awesome. That being said, from what i've seen over the years, Fargo is a fickle place, and location is key. if you're too far from the popular...

    Operation: Bar Box Rescue

Popping the slate out literally takes 10 minutes. I don't have any cloth on hand, and i want to upgrade the rails, so i there's no point in leaving it unassembled until i can get it all ordered. At least i can play on it in the meantime.

    Operation: Bar Box Rescue

The ATV/Motorcycle jack is kind of awkward to move around. it's long and low, doesn't like to be dragged. but its not nearly as heavy as my floor jack, and i like it's wider lifting area (spread out).. Luckily my basement is a walk out, so i just need to roll it down the driveway, and only lift...

Here's that congestion you spoke of. 😅 First break in nearly 15 years... If i had better ball control, the solids could clear out nicely.
