The worst advice ... "don't play that guy!" There's always some railbird chomping at the bit to tell you who you can't beat. That's why they're railbirds and can't play themselves. Too bad I didn't figure that out until my playing days, if you want to call it that, were pretty much over. Now...

It's too bad that time has to creep up on everyone. Sigel was making cues, if he isn't still, so I guess you'd have to call him the best cue maker/player but, without him in the mix, Bobby would have my vote. And his cues are top notch as well. :)

No one can just be diagnosed as an a**hole anymore. But i will say that, after watching Marty's show, I think he may be legitimately nuts (but no one is just plain ole nuts anymore either). ;)

Weeeeeeell ... I guess everything concerning the travel of the cue to [and through] the cue ball (line of travel, angle of travel, speed, etc., etc.) might matter at the moment of impact.

Or better yet, stick ice picks in your ears in an attempt to impair your hearing so that you'd have that unfair advantage too! I can see that trend sweeping the pool scene soon! :D

It's amusing that some people actually believe that having one of your senses impaired would be an unfair advantage in anything.
