I do occasionally, but most of the time, no. Simply because I personally feel like I get a crisper hit with my break cue when I'm swinging for the fences. But at the same time, I also have more control with my playing cue on the break.

Mine just broke... Is there a very noticeable difference between a genuine ivory ferrule compared to say a premium performance shaft ferrule (ie. Ivor-x, OB, Predator, etc...) hit wise and jump wise?

I do not measure success on the dollar by no means. Success to me is being happy and providing as much as I can for my family. (and maybe an occasional pool trophy or decent payout :p )
