More information would be helpful. You reference a demonstration- is there a link or video? How is it different than the edge finder built it into Mach3? Is this a VB script?

Hightower and Unique both have instructional videos that are helpful to beginners. Even though the ones for Unique are demonstrated on their equipment, they are helpful. YouTube has a great number of videos for basic cue repairs, too. However, watch with a wary eye and be sure what's going on...
