    Aluminum radial pin?

You think the change in color is from the friction? Yea I think I'll give g10 a try on my next cue.

    Aluminum radial pin?

I can already imagine it, seems like a beauty, I love BRW

    Aluminum radial pin?

I also wondered if it was just voodoo, but after trying two different pins on the exact same cue no one can convince me that material doesn't make a slight difference. The difference can't only be from removing an ounce in the middle, it most definitely feels like a vibrational difference, in a...

    Aluminum radial pin?

Yup, I'm the OP, I also changed the pin to lower the weight and move the balance point but was also wondering about the hit. I had the exact same experience. The hit and sound were a bit softer and more "natural." I was also pleasantly surprised.

    Aluminum radial pin?

I updated the original post on my feelings after picking up and shooting with my cue.

    Aluminum radial pin?

If you were making yourself a personal cue would you have a preference or would it solely rely on weight?

    Aluminum radial pin?

Good point, when I go back I'll ask the owner what type of aluminum it is.

    Aluminum radial pin?

What is your preferred pin material? Just good ol stainless?

    Aluminum radial pin?

Those look cool, what type of material are those?

    Aluminum radial pin?

    Why do you feel that?

    Aluminum radial pin?

Is that because the pin gets slightly bent and when screwing it on the creaking is the pin getting straightened back?

    Aluminum radial pin?

Other than the point you made do you think the material and density change the feel of the hit at all?

Low deflection properties of schmelke sks kielwood shaft?

Okay I'll wait a week to see what you think once you hit with it. I'm actually looking for a lighter shaft. I like a pretty light shaft For a more rear weighted cue. I do have a radial. If I were to order one I'd prefer it around 12mm and hope the shaft would be around 3.4 oz.

    Aluminum radial pin?

Don't think that the softer nature of aluminum compared to ss will lead to a slightly softer hit?

    Aluminum radial pin?

Yea I also love radial pins. I was gonna go with the g10 but I was talking to the owner, who's obviously very knowledgeable about everything pool cues, and he suggested I go with aluminum because he said the hit resonates better through aluminum than g10. So I said screw it and went with that. I...

    Aluminum radial pin?

I've had my Jacoby for a couple years but I've always liked a more rear weighted player. So I took my cue up to Tiger and I'm having them switch the pin from a stainless steel to an aluminum radial pin, it'll remove an ounce. I was originally gonna go with a g10 but switched it up. I honestly...

Low deflection properties of schmelke sks kielwood shaft?

Did you get a chance to shoot with his schmelke shaft? What did you think and what can you comparte it to? And the deflection.

Low deflection properties of schmelke sks kielwood shaft?

Was that a Schmelke Kielwood or another one?

Low deflection properties of schmelke sks kielwood shaft?

Yea brother, leí me know what you think of the feel and deflection and any other shaft you think has a similar feel.
