Look at what dabarbr is saying above - it's different from what else is being said here. dabarbr is saying you don't actually remove the balls from the table. This seems to make sense to me, I wonder why you don't see this much.

I couldn't agree with you more - I could watch them try to get out of tough 8-ball outs all day, especially on the smaller bar boxes (more traffic jams).
