yeah i have seen a few people that get "better" with a few drinks, but they really dont, maybe they feel a little more confident about themselves on the table but i doubt they get any better in my experience they usually get worse

Its just a weekly tourny at a local bar, i just wanted something to get started in, ever since i got my new predator cue it seems like my game has grown by leaps and bounds and i just want to get out there and play some decent shooters, just to try myself out. Just a weekly tournament, 8-ball...

I definitely am not going to drink during or before the tournament, im not really a big drinker, only time I'm usually in a bar, which seems like a lot, is to play pool.

I am going to be entering into my first tournament tomorrow night, its a Bar Box, 8-ball tournament i believe, does anyone have any tips or tricks for me? And suggestions on how you keep yout cool during a tournament? Thanks -Dustin

Thanks for all the replies Thats the information i needed to hear, i am going to tell him i will take $175 off of the price of the gun if he wants to trade it, that way i can sell just the butt or buy a new shaft, probably a predator, and have another cue.

Ok heres the deal, The guy I am talking about trading with is a Sheriff and he wants to trade me his pool cue, for my Kimber Custom II that I have a lot of work on. He got the pool cue second hand from a guy that supposedly never even chalked it up, he paid $350, or $400 for it i can't remember...

Anyone have any idea how much a used Meucci Power Piston 04 would be worth, it has both the black dot shafts and a 1x2 case with it, but one shaft has a bad wobble when you roll it on the pool table and one has a slight wobble. I am thinking about a trade, if anyone could help me out at all...
