    Predator Arcadia Cloth

I've used it with the glue down method. The players seem to like it. I like the way they put the logo under the rail instead of on top like Andy. They don't give you as much room as I'd like, the way they cut the cloth to do the logo rail, but it is certainly possible. Quality control is good...

    Predator Pool Table?

****Its double density carbon-steel provide the most powerful frame and legs. Re-machined pure Brazilian slate is optimised for a seamless roll and a new cushion rail design ensure a consistent response. ****Predator’s Stealth Design – an ultra-black matte surface finish – give the table a sleek...

    Table movability if needed

No need to remove the legs when flipping, just screw them all the way in on the flip side. Definitely put something under the legs to not jack the floor. Pieces of carpet are no good as the table will want to slide by just the act of players bumping in to it. A cut up old rubber floor mat would...

    One-piece slate?

I would take the slate out and move it separately from the frame. So as not to have to carry it you can slide it on strips of old carpet right up the steps and out the door. Load the frame first then put the slate back in the frame for transport. Be sure and inspect the stairway to make sure...

    Is this a valley

A table that old, I would first check for a settled or warped slate. With the table level, a bad slate will roll towards the middle on a cross shot at both ends. Are the cross beams wood or aluminum? Edited to add; never mind, just read your broken slate post. LOL

    Where's Glen Hancock (Therealkingcobra)?!?

Where you at King? 34 pages of players speculating, chastising, making glue jokes and Trents spam. I'm disenchanted.

Valley rails and side pocket: To fold or not to fold?

Hey King, I didn't recover these, they were on two tables I recently purchased. The bottom rail is a Penguin brand that came covered from their factory. The top rail was recovered by someone else, probably in Ohio, as you can see it has problems, but probably not something a player would...

Valley rails and side pocket: To fold or not to fold?

Most of you have probably seen this method before. This is how I first learned from an old timer. I’ve tried to replicate it here in these pics. If done right it holds up well. It’s like a fold but only two layers instead of three.

Valley rails and side pocket: To fold or not to fold?

Ouch, what a cut, what a burn. Not every location warrants the best cloth.

Here’s a table that has seen some use. Profile look distorted to you?

Valley rails and side pocket: To fold or not to fold?

Okay King, here’s the pic you requested. Of course it’s going to be more bunched up and have more staples than your “hospital fold”, you have to stretch it more! Now post your backside pic of the no fold method. Don’t kid yourself, feather strip rails can also be done in the no fold method...
