That's exactly what I was thinking...how would they evaluate the true value of the cue? I would think that the Blue Book would be a guideline but overall appreciation and intrinsic value is mostly subjective. Maybe I should just get a gun safe and bolt it to the floor...lol.

If this is in the wrong forum, please adjust...thanks. I was considering attaching a rider to my homeowners policy to insure my cue collection. Is it worth it? What're the grounds for value estimation? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I spoke with him on Monday and it still hasn't really sunk in that he's gone. I do remember the days back in Chelsea billiards...playing 9-ball on the front snooker table with him...centennials on the big table and tiny pockets...and watching his stutter-stroke when he approached a difficult...
