Who built Schuler cues after Ray Schuler passed away, and were they good quality cues?

Ray had at least 5 major tapers as standard, with over a dozen (maybe much more) stored as all his shafts were turned on a CNC lathe. The major tapers are marked accordingly on his shaft with code letters.

Who built Schuler cues after Ray Schuler passed away, and were they good quality cues?

I wrote the InsidePOOL article on Schuler Cues shortly after Ray passed, and interviewed everyone at the shop during my visit. Prior to Ray passing, Noel was already the lead cuemaker. Ray signed the cues, but Noel started playing around with signing. When Ray passed, Noel continued being...

Are Corey and Melling the 2 best at dissecting an 8 ball rack ever?

My own wrong opinions is that the best 8-ball I've seen are: SVB Dennis Orcullo Efren In that order for me. I really haven't seen enough of Niels, Thorsten, Ralf, Fedor, and Filler play a lot of 8-ball even though know they can all play it very well. There were very few pro 8-ball tourneys...

Don't do this either. Sigel 100% made his custom cues. But Sigel also imported Sigel production cues.

Predator CONFIRMS revo 12.9 has LOWER deflection than 12.4 !!!

I assume you mean “if they still…” Predator’s deflection testing system is called Iron Willie, in homage to Willie Mosconi as well as golf’s Iron Byron.

Yes. Lol! It trends towards 2 syllables, if that makes sense. If you sound out all the vowels quickly enough, it would sound awfully close to 2 syllables even if you trying to do 3 syllables. Similar to Ruiz trending to 1 syllable (Rweeth)

Only soft C and Z are pronounced in most of Spain as a th (per what they call Distinción). Any S that you might hear as a th is a bit not traditional (what they call Ceceo - which is only in a few regions in Spain. Is Jonás from one of those regions. I wouldn’t have thought so. It is funny...

That’s good. Did he tell them how to pronounce his first name??? Maybe I’m being too presumptuous, but Jonás would be pronounced: ho NAS in Spanish. Not: YO nus like that interview just said.

She had her breakout on TV. She starred in the reboot of the Addams family franchise as the titular character ‘Wednesday.’ That was a Netflix “tv” series. She was also the lead in the reboot of Beatlejuice. She also has been in a handful of other films in the last few years on Netflix.

I find it interesting that the commentators have settled on calling Jonás Souto Comino by his family name (Souto), but they settled on calling Fancisco Sanchez Ruiz by his mother’s maiden name (Ruiz) years ago. Oddly enough, they call David Alcaide Bermudez by his family name as well. Unless...

I wonder if Predator and Lucasi may have ever had a Collaboration together.

yes. They collaborated sort of. When Lucasi went to their “2nd generation” cues, they came standard with Uniloc and were available with Predator shafts. It’s fair to assume that they had some kind of business agreement with Predator (but maybe just from a wholesale buying). Jim Lucas (Cue...

    Any McDermott Cue Players?

McDermott was using CNC to build their cues as early as 1983. I know this will confuse people, but McDermott (Evan Clarke was with McDermott at the time) were making their V-groove points and many sub-components using CNC mills and lathes.
