    Layani Website = Virus Threat

Papers...? How 20th century. (grin) I still have your original pics of mine, but I was wondering how the other two came out.

    Layani Website = Virus Threat

Incidentally, I have one of the 3 (?) cues that came out of that collaboration - anybody have any idea what happened to the other two? Thierry? I'd love to see pics...

How about the Ho Hummers... You could tell the APA folks you're only so-so players...

Team Name Help Needed, but this might offend...

There's a team of young Pinoys hereabouts called "Cougar Bait". How about 'Carom Cougars'? Or are you too young to qualify?

Canadian made Falcon vs Chinese Falcon

I don't think you'll see any measurable difference. Last time I visited the factory in Mississauga (around 10 years ago?), Ernie was already only making Canadian maple shafts and simple butts. The fancier cues were already being built and imported from China for both Predator and Falcon.

In Case it wasnt posted yet.... Alexander 'Hurricane' Higgins Died

I met a snooker playing Scotsman (Robert) here in the GTA area who told me the following story about Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins. Apparently Robert was playing in the Embassy snooker championships at the CNE in Toronto and got to play Higgins. In their conversation after losing quite badly, Robert...

    Ghosst

I'll tell Ortelia that you're still alive. She remembers you fondly... It's still there, although moribund. FL finally gave up crapping in it. Some of us still monitor it and post from time to time but it'll never be what it was. Most of the old faces have left for AZ or the Jimbo Army site.

    Playing with a Broomstick

The Bobley Match The Bobley Match (Part 2) "Did I tell you I was the Irish..." I started. "Shut the f*** up." he said. * Shamus was peering around the bar. "Can I ask the folks in the bar for suggestions?" he said to Charlie. "Sure..." said Charlie. "How about using Mrs O'Shaunessy?"...

    Playing with a Broomstick

The Bobley Match The Bobley Match (Part 1) I was sitting in the old Fidget & Fiddle pub one day just minding my own damn business, as it were, when that poltroon Shamus McFinney swaggered in. Shamus has to be one of the most annoying people on God's green earth... and one of the most...

    Alex Pagulayan representing Canada??????

That shouldn't be a surprise. Alex is a Canadian citizen with a Canadian passport and has been listed as representing Canada in prior World Championships. He was, of course, born in the Philippines.

http://www.lespotbilliard.com/e/specials.htm As far as I know... see above. We play CPA so pay the league prices.

Drawing the rack outline on your table

Think about not doing it at all. You don't need it. FWIW, my table has a foot-spot and a head-spot (drawn and filled in with a black sharpie, they are the size of a dime). Nothing else.

    Lexan Forarm ...

I'm not surprised at all. I've had a Willee break cue for 5 years or so (I can't recall exactly when he made it) which has been used by everybody in my CPA team as a breaker for a while and despite the abuse it's still solid. Matter of fact, whenever one of my pool buddies comes over he...

    Diamond Tables in Ont?

Those pics were taken a long time ago... the place and the ownership has changed quite a bit... my wife and I play in CPA leagues there 2-3 times a week. The Diamond (actually the only table with blue felt) is the first table on your left when you come in. It usually has a 'reserved' sign on it...

    Smorg... AKA Doug

He dropped in on us at a GWN pool tournament back in 2001. Hadn't been playing much even at that point. Last I heard of Ghosst was in July of 2004 and he was back in Canada... Calgary, AB I think. He was married and had lived in the UK for 3 years or so before coming home. He still owns the...
