There are supposed to be four or five makers like Zen but their production stays local or goes to China. What we get over here is not much. I have a good friend who's wife is Taiwanese and they go over once a year. In December I convinced him to go to Zens shop and get on his wait list.

KC Cues is a Southwest clone made in Taiwan. Supposed to be on par with a McDermott or a Meucci but I don't think SW is losing any sleep about them...

I can't tell in the photos but how many dots on the rails? One dot per rail is a snooker table, three dots is a pool/billiards.

I don't mean like a literal Schmelke. I meant that the joint was more like that door-knocker joint they used in the 70's on all their cues, but in this instance on a much earlier cue before that came out. So like, but not the same.

Chop have you ever seen this joint before? Got it on what looked like a two-piece pronged cue with a weight stamp and I've never seen one like it. Sort of like an early Schmelke joint.

That's not a Brunswick conversion unless the donor cue was one of the Schmelke blanks from the 80's. To me it looks like a nice cue that the maker put a water transfer decal on to give it the feel of a classic WHP conversion.

It's probably best that you did not... It was in a question about a Joss cue and the sandpiper was in the photos with it and I got excited about the Miz and pissed off the Joss fan boys. I suggested one of them choke on a bag of dicks. Not my finest day, but I stand by the recommendation.
