I appreciate all the responses. I was hoping to avoid the waiting period for Eddie to find the time to "ring" a shaft for me but I guess I will bite the bullet on it. :)

I have what may be a silly question. I have 2 shafts for my Farris with nice ringwork and was wondering if it is possible to move the collar from one of them and put it on another shaft like a 314.

Still looking. Will consider an Ob-1 also.

Its a nice cue but I feel like Chris..the PHANTOM printed above the wrap screams production cue. I know thats a foolish reason to feel negative towards it but for $2100 , if it has to scream, I want it to scream "1 of 1".

Anyone happen to have a 314 or a Z shaft with a radial pin they want to get rid of reasonably? I would like to try one without investing my first born child's future in it.

3rd Edition says Level 3 at 90% is about $550 so price sounds good. But value, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. :)

So is it possible to have an existing wrap waxed and pressed or does it require a complete rewrap? Sorry if the answer should be obvious but I honestly have no clue how this is done.

What is the general feeling about sealing the wrap? Are there compelling reasons one way or the other?

Well..I tried Googling Eddie Anderson to find some of his work..I found a boatload of Pam Anderson so it wasn't a total waste..but no Eddie. Does he have a website?

Now I realize that the forum members here are the shy types who have problems voicing their opinions :rolleyes: but with all the cue makers out there I am wondering if there is any concensus on which cue maker provides the "best bang for the buck" on the lower end (under $700) custom cues? Not...
