Sold Pair of well-used but fully-functional Whitten 2x4’s

Nice pair of leather everyday use Whitten 2x4 cases. You don’t see many in the single long pocket configuration. Would like to keep them together. Name tags are engraved “Nancy” on the single pocket shoulder strap, and “Mike”on the double pocket case. Please, see pictures for areas of...

    Sold Justis 2x4 Prolite

It was an everyday case, and shows cosmetic wear, but it is absolutely sound and fully-functional. Prolites seem to come-up for sale far less often than the tube cases: sold shipped. US/PayPal only. (Sale is for the case only. No cues included.)

    Vintage TAD For Sale

Vintage TAD birdseye Merry Widow. Believed to have been made in the very early 70’s. Has some lift at the joint. White fibre ferrule is loose and needs to be reglued. Some dings in the butt and shaft. Cortland wrap is a little dirty. Screw securing the bumper has some stripping. Piloted...

    Gus Szamboti's destroyed cue?

What kind of case, if any, was it in when you bought it? If it was in a soft case, my guess is that it was damaged from improper storage by someone other than the original owner.

    Gus Szamboti's destroyed cue?

The way I see it, if this cue was meant to be destroyed by Gus, the shaft would not have stayed with it. I imagine he would have repurposed the shaft or built another cue with the same rings. That said, it does have a fighting chance. Hopefully, you get to the bottom of it. Good luck.

    Interesting Piece of Mosconi Memorabilia

The signature is good for the time period and the likely circumstances - He may have been supporting the bill on his thigh or against a wall. His earlier “casual“ signature is different from the stuff that was being signed on a large scale later in his life. Here’s a good example of an...

    Interesting Piece of Mosconi Memorabilia

I don’t recall ever seeing signed money by him, and I’m always on the lookout for unique billiard items. I’m sure there were many, many others, but it’s my guess that, unless the bill was framed, it eventually got spent... A problem seemingly unique to autographed currency.

    Identify cue

The cue was sent to the guillotine. It’s very likely not the original joint. I’m far from an expert, but I believe the butt sleeve would be less crowded and the rings would lineup on a Gus.

    Identify cue

I think it’s a Richard Black. Repaired as said above. It would be a real shame if the cue was butchered to remove an inscription to the original owner.

$500 for a tip? Come on, get real.

People pay $500 or very close to it for a butt cap without blinking an eye. At least a tip impacts the cue’s performance.

    Wanted: 5/16 X 14 Butt Only

I have a Rich cue made from a nice piece of BRW. It does have movement, though. The wood is darker than the photos show. Looks pretty sporty with a carbon shaft, if that’s your thing.
