Anybody have any experience trying to switch your dominant eye?

sorry, but i was never really intrigued by the question of dominant eye, till yesterday, when i played with my friend, and we started a debate. I just ended a session, and i came to a conclusion that for medium to long range shots i use a right eye as a dominant one, but at closer range for...

Anybody have any experience trying to switch your dominant eye?

Its funny with the dominat eye, when i look to the left(not moving my head), the left eye is dominant, and when i look to the right, the right eye takes over. How ? Must be the head position. Thanks

Anybody have any experience trying to switch your dominant eye?

Thanks for the link. I must admit i ve seen a lot of dr.Daves videos and explanations, and have to say he doing a great job and hope he keeps on doing it and keeping it real ( as AliG would have said). But these are all straight shots in the video, guess it applies on the cuts also. BR

Anybody have any experience trying to switch your dominant eye?

I was having a discussion with my friend about dominant eye yesterday, been thinking about it all night. is it possible that , in the game, you change dominant eye in regards to the shot you are taking and dont even know it? For example When shooting to cut the OB on the right side left eye...

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

I have one eye on CB and the other one on OB. 😅 I step out of the box to see the shot line. Then i commit and step into the shot, knowing where i ll set my bridge hand, accordingly to the shot (spin, center) visualising tha path of the whitey to the contact point. Psr is just final check that...

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

my view on the subject I think watching the whitey gives you confirmation on tip contact, however i think when you get the feel and you have enough confirmation, once you are in a shot, psr, ready to deliver, you should focus on the object ball. BR

    Understanding Cue Shaft Flexibility

If the contact time of tip and CB is so short, when does the release energy comes into play? I think there might be an analogy with ski jumping-if you jump to late, most of the energy transfer will go into air. Can you explain more about the timing? Maybe a slowmo ? BR

    Comprehensive list of drills?

I know , ive been there, have a bronze from world champs, but not billiards. When you have the drive, focus, will, and you enjoy hard training you get there. I am in my late 40s, my ambition is to play a good game. I now i will never be the best. Its to late for that, but i enjoy a tough...

    Comprehensive list of drills?

If you dont have the technique, you need instructor (like i do). Drill is just repeating shots that you miss in a game. I have fun "dancing"arround the table. I started with some j.ouschan and n.feijen videos available on yt, i ve seen some books. Never have more than a couple of balls on the...

    Schon, what do you think?

The inlays are ok not really poppin, maybe i thought the were swelled. But really it looks like finish has shrinked a bit, as Duane suggested. I was wondering if the cue is cored or not? I will contact scott. BR

    Schon, what do you think?

The man who sold it, said i shouldnt play to hard with it. I checked the joint, i think it is not cored. Or is it? Is that why i shouldnt hit to hard? Also i took a very close look and it apears the inlays are popping out slightly. I cant feel it, just see the light deflection. Moisture? BR

Hello everyone I was offered this nice schon for 450€. Its from late 80s or early 90s. Has a golden script logo, and the shaft isnt original one. The cue is straight, has a good feeling, but has quite a few nicks and bumps and some chipped of varnish. I ve looked arround, but seen no similar...
