Just to clarify, my issue was to protect my NEW zylr shafts. The shaft in question is by a phillipine cuemaker. If it is an infectious situation, then i am rightfully very worried about my new zylr.

Yup, this is an inexpensive cue. But the shaft is still straight. The main issue i am worried about is whether this could affect my new zylr shafts. So i was afraid. The shaft was with me for around 1.5 yrs before the signs came out. This shaft has been bleached before, but my other spare...

Nope they are not sticky. They also dun look like moulds. It has always been in my case. I just brought it to a cue shop and the owner say it looks like sugar marks. But the shaft was clean before this marks showed up. So far, no one can give an answer. I am totally clueless too

Hi, It has come to my notice that there is some yellow spots on my shafts. The cue is always in my instroke case if i am not playing. I cant seem to make out if it is mould? Can someone shed some light over this? My shafts are getting affected.
