Hey guys I've looked at threads similar in the past that have discussed this topic but I am just curious on a few things.
1.) Where exactly is the diameter of the butt measured? At the end of the butt cap, wrap, or handle area?
2.) Anyone have the specs of their respected cue makers? For...
Why not contact predator about the delamination? They guarantee for life against defects and it sounds like that's exactly what yours is. They're pretty generous too in what they cover if you just explain it to them.
At this point with the phase out of the 2nd generation they might even just...
So a quick question regarding the amount of movement in a cue when rolled. Taper rolls exist in almost all cue shafts so that's pretty much a given. What about taper rolls in the butt end? If ordering a custom you noticed there was a tiny bit of movement in the butt cap area or in the grip...
Instroke
Stand on your own and reasonable? Instroke premier. Not too expensive but protects your cues. No jump cue slot but you could order a 3x5 and have an extra slot in the main compartment. Price difference is only like 30 bucks too between a 3x5 and 2x4 and is not too big size wise...
For sale is a fairly brand new 314-2 shaft I purchased from seyberts about 3 months ago. I purchased it when my old original 314-2 shaft had a cracked ferrule and was sent into seyberts for repair. Ironically, I bought this because I thought my old shaft would feel different when it came back...
Hey guys looking for a storage case. Need at least a 3x6 or bigger. Something along the lines of one of the sterling cases with the soft felt dividers. Nothing too beat up.
Thanks.
Truth be told I have always liked the feel and hit of lambros and Frey cues and was never in the market for a boar. However, with a good deal on an old boar I'm not sure if I should pass it up.
There seem to be a lot of mixed feelings on boars on how they hit, but a lot of it is based on the...
Anyone here have any info on the old black boar catalog cues? Were they still constructed out of one piece of solid wood with no a-joint? Anyone know of the value of the AS, RS, and FS series?
Really in the market for a new cue out of the MD base and am considering either an old boar or...
Hey guys,
Getting back into playing again and want to try out a new cue. Been scouring the for sale section and open billiards market and haven't found anything that catches my eye. Looking for Lambros, Frey, Diveney, etc.
My price point is around $1k.
Thanks.
Found one. Thanks for all the...
Anyone have any problems with their 314 after ferrule warranty replacements? I had my 314 fixed by seyberts but I swear I can notice a difference when inside english is applied. All in my head or is replacing a predator ferrule difficult?
Definitely starting to prefer lighter cues. My P2 is at 18.9 and I want it lighter but it wont drop anymore. Balance is more important for me and my cue is at 14.9 in the butt and 4.0 in the 314 shaft. Next is a custom in the 18.5 range.
Hey guys I'm looking to try a new cue. I've been pming a few of you guys recently but haven't found anything yet. Anyone got a cue they're looking to sell? Interested in anything but prefer Diveney's, Sly's, or Frey's. I know some of those will be sneaky's but I like that style.
I don't get the made in America means good quality.....wasn't it just like 10 years ago that it was a running joke that if it was made in America it would break or it was made cheap? I mean isn't that still the stigma with American made cars? Just saying...
