Thanks for the reply. I do not have a taper bar, just the lathe. I thought it was a tricky one to deal with. Thanks again, Biloxi69

    Taper Question

Hi everyone. I need some help/ideas on how to taper a conical shaft. The tip/ferrule size is fine the way it is but 3 inches from the ferrule to 12 needs to be tapered down. I guess it's like converting this conical taper to a pro taper. The guy I'm doing this for complains the shaft is too...

    WTB Steady Rest

Just bought a mid size lathe and looking for a steady rest. A chuck steady rest would be ideal since it can be adjusted to do shaft/butt. Anyone have a spare lying around that wants to get rid of it shoot me a message. Thanks in advance.

    WTB Cue Lathe

Hello everyone, I’m looking to buy a used cue lathe. Ready to move on from my homemade lathe. A Mid Size Cue Smith would be nice but I’m open to suggestions. Anyone upgrading and want to get rid of their old lathe, or willing to part with their used one, shoot me message. Thanks in advance.
