    Long Draw Shots

Well, if you have trouble with draw distance try changing where you strike the cue ball. If you tend to draw too far, take some off, or just hit a little higher on the cue ball. You can hit almost center ball with a draw stroke and still pull the rock back.

    Unknown "monster" players

Chuckie Holyoke. He will probably be a great player in a few years. He is almost short stop speed right now and breaks better than I do at ~115 lbs.

    Unknown "monster" players

I used to play with James Walden out in OKC. At the time, he was THE BEST player I had ever seen. He ran 7 racks of 8 ball on me on a shimmed Gold Crown. And we were just messing around!

    Unknown "monster" players

I know and have played with Glenn, Al, and Bobby Zack many times. Glenn is better than both Bobby and Al, with Al needing probably the seven out from Glenn and the 8 from Bobby. I have gambled with Al a few times...he gave me the seven last time and he beat me in a close one. I would...

Shaft end mass, deflection and snooker cues: Calling Science Guys

Snooker cue shafts are made of ash which is a much more rigid wood, so they wouldn't really be low deflection at all. Yes, tip end mass has a lot to do with it, but there are other factors. If you hit a cueball with English (or side) with a very light shaft of titanium, do you think it would...

If you have tried both: Predator vs OB

I have stated before, and I will gladly say again that the OB-2 is the best hitting shaft on the market in my opinion. I gave my cue to my local cuemaker to do some work on it today and I had to use my old sneaky pete. I missed the shit out of my ob2 shaft and couldn't play half my normal...

    OB-1, OB-2, kind a long.....

I bought, and have been using, an ob-1 shaft since around the time they came out and I loved the way it hit, but I had only one complaint with it. I like thinner shafts and I couldn't turn the ob-1 shaft down past 12mm because the ferrule is too thin. Well, I am glad Royce took my advice to...

    Best Chalk??? I wanna change.

A Triangle tip is fine, but mushrooms more quickly than say a Sniper or Moori or Kamui, etc. Also, a low deflection ( not " no deflection") shaft is a huge difference in play. I tried shooting with my frined's Pechauer with a standard shaft on it tonight, and I couldn't make a ball if I tried...
