    rail work and UPS

Bradsh98 covered this pretty well for sure. I'll add a few before and after pictures of my Centennial rails, this table is nearly 70 years old. My Centennial is a 10 footer. 5" standard original pockets. The table was beautiful in the original condition, but I wanted to fully restore it and...

    rail work and UPS

Ok, I'm an expert on this topic because I have worked at UPS for 7 years and also I have shipped rails to Mark for rail work. Don't buy an extra set of rails. Avoid shipping until after Christmas. Don't ship items you care about, items that can't be replaced, between Thanksgiving and...

New Pro-Cut Pocket and DEEP SHELVED Slate on a Brunswick Gold Crown, Anniversary or Centennial !!!!

Wow, what's the back story here in regards to Craig? That's pretty strong words. The only thing I know about that guy is he had the guts to start a pool table company when Brunswick was the goliath in the industry. Goliath was producing junk and he found a market for high quality, American...

Proper Way to Transport and Store Slate?

Hi all, hoping to get some guidance from the pros, what is the best way to transport slate, flat or standing and strapped to tie downs? Also, when storing slates, what's the best way to store them? Standing vertically or flat? Thanks!

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

Appreciate all the input! This particular table was well taken care of, always in a private home. It’s in great condition, very little wear and tear. I pulled the trigger and made a deal today on the table for $1,200. Here’s a few pics of the actual table, frame and a rail. There’s a few more...

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

There’s one, same model, on eBay now for $8,900. Of course, doesn’t mean someone will pay that, but never know, I do think they are hard to find recently and sounds like they are high quality...

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

Yes, I noticed the balls just silently glided around the table and off the cushions. Wasn’t sure if that was my imagination because you don’t think of any table as making noise, but this was different.

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

Thanks for the feedback! I hate pockets that spit balls out. It should sound and feel like a catchers mit. I never jump myself, I prefer kicking, so not a concern there, but I tend to lose the cue off normal tables on the break sometimes from hitting down accidentally. Are they standard 5”...

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

Thanks, yes I played on this one and the balls seemed to glide and were totally silent, like a carom table almost.

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

Thanks, appreciate all the feedback. The one I’m looking at is 6 legs. You know what the pocket measurements were, standard 5” in corners?

"Upgrading" from a Diamond to a Valley...

Great advice. Keep your Diamond. I have a 10’ Brunswick Centennial and a 9’ Brunswick Anniversary. Never played on a 7’ Diamond until a recent trip to Tennessee where that’s the main table in most rooms. Those things are a blast! Great table, so much fun and well built. Actually thinking of...

Thoughts on Quality of Connley Ultimate w/ 2” Slates?

I’m looking at an original, Arizona built, Connley Ultimate with 2” slate. These original, pre-bankruptcy, tables seem to be really high quality. Anyone have experience or thoughts with these tables? Thanks!

Correct cushion for older Brunswick American snooker table 5x10

Reviving this thread because I have the same question about buying the correct cushions for a vintage Brunswick snooker table. I have a 1926 Brunswick 12’, 8 leg, Monroe snooker table. Previous owner tried to do cushion replacement himself and put regular pool cushions on. What cushion do I...

I ordered my Southwest in September’ 2013. Checked in with Laurie 3 years ago, she said 2026 so I’m down to the home stretch, 5 more years! Basically, that’s the only reason I don’t shoot straight, just don’t have my Southwest yet... 🤷‍♂️ 😂
