If it were me, I would def go with an 8 footer. I had similar circustances and had to settle with a 7 ft. Which is what I play on in leagues anyway so it works and is better than no table. I still have 1 shot that I break out the bar cue for unfortunately. But to me, I wanted something I could...

Maybe others will completely agree, but when I have used my tan chalk on green felt tables, to me it looks like the same mark as the green chalk leaves. Anyone agree/disagree with this?

I have khaki cloth on my home table and I use masters tan. When I go to the bar/hall I use masters green or blue. For me, its as simple as taking a napkin and wiping my the tip off.
