    Is this a Brunswick???

Looks like a Wendt to me with a Brunswick badge on it. I spoke to a nice lady yesterday at Brunswick and she assured me they never produced a table with that leg design.

    Is this a Brunswick???

Here is a close up of the leg shape I mentioned before. Note the curve at the top and how it matches the 6 legged table in my last post.

    Is this a Brunswick???

The nice people over at Brunswick think this is made by Wendt Billiard Table Manufacturing Company of Milwaukee. I did an internet search and found a Wendt table. This example has 6 legs but if you look closely at the legs you will see they are the same shape as the table I'm thinking of buying...

    Is this a Brunswick???

To Bic D, Yes I stated that the pictures are not of the actual table I'm looking at but the legs are the same. Here is a picture of the actual table I am thinking of buying. If you look at the legs you will see they match.

    Is this a Brunswick???

No. I found an identical one from a private owner that has an 8' one. But it looks exactly the same except for it being partly dissembled.

    Is this a Brunswick???

I found this antique table for sale, circa 1918 and the owner said it's a Brunswick. I haven't seen the table in person and have yet to get a picture of the badge. I contacted Brunswick and they don't have this leg design on file. Their files include every table they have ever made! Has anyone...

    vintage pool table question

I contacted Brunswick and they said they have every table they have ever made on file and they don't recognize the leg design. So either they are missing a file (from 100 years ago it could be missing) or someone re-tagged it to have that brand name on it. Has anyone ever seen this design before???

    vintage pool table question

Hi gang, I'm looking at buying a 1920s table and it is partially dissembled. The slate appears to be original but the corners and where the side pocket would be are hard cutouts. In the corners there should be a curved cut but this is square. I have seen a lot of old tables but never saw slate...

    Hooks

Chris, As I was playing Hooks with these rules the balls got further and further apart and it was very difficult. But making a good hit and sinking a ball or 2 meant they would be spotted. Creating a line of balls at the spot the next time around. This brings another element to the table and...

    Hooks

We only had 2 players but I think it would be possible to play more. #1. Rack your standard 10 ball rack. First player breaks (lightly but a bit more than strait pool). Same player has to call any ball he wants to Hook his opponent from. First player has to hit that ball first and try to safety...

    Hooks

I was shown a new game over the weekend called "Hooks" and was wondering if anyone might have the rules written down somewhere. It is a safety game using a 10 ball rack and you only try to "hook" your opponent and NOT sink balls. Every time you succeed you get a point. With the game only being a...
