Who is going to win the 2023 Mosconi Cup?

Isn't that what you said this year? [emoji28] Why would next year be any different. I think the results are predictable from the ratings. Only 2 USA players are in Top 10 and that's counting Fedor. All Europe players are in Top 10.

    3D printed pool cue

It's going yo be terrible. A guy I know has a pool cue disguised as a walking stick. No one questions a walking stick. Sent from my SM-S918B using Tapatalk

Add rings to one piece butt?

Simple juma rings would do. Definitely don't want to cut it, looking for the easiest solution. One question, if you had a juma ring of the correct dianeter and made a cut in it, would that make it flexible enough to slide it over the forearm and lock it into place? Add rings to one piece butt?

Dear cuemakers, I have a one piece butt (no joints) with a linen wrap, that o want to change to a leather wrap. I want to add simple rings at either end of the wrap at the same time, I really dislike the look of a wrap without the rings. How would you go about adding rings without cutting the...

Anyone use Zan soft, (or something similar) tips?

You have to try the Zan Premium Soft, it's a true soft tip. A bit more expensive than the regular soft.

Mezz Avant (Wavy 2) Cue Review

Only once I couldn't bring a cue on the plane. Aside from that I don't need to prove anything to you, and anyway it is a stupid rule with no logic. Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk

Mezz Avant (Wavy 2) Cue Review

One thing to keep in mind is that their founder and original owner left or was forced out of the company a few months ago. I'm not sure if or how that impacts their quality. Last I heard, he is starting a new cue making business in Thessaloniki. I have always dealt with him personally when...

Mezz Avant (Wavy 2) Cue Review

In Europe it's mostly not a problem, me and friends have done it regularly. When leaving from the US it's sometimes a problem, depending on the airport and security people. I do think if it's broken down and inside your carry on, no one would bat an eye. Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk

Mezz Avant (Wavy 2) Cue Review

Hey I ended up selling it to a young guy at the pool hall who was looking for his first quality cue. There were two small issues for me, the wavy 2 pin didn't fit tightly with my wavy shafts and it being wrapless, I couldn't get used to it. I play with IQ shafts always, in my opinion better...

    Balsa wood ferrule

I think balsa would be terrible for ferrules. I know it well from table tennis rackets. It is spongy, the air inside is compressed on hard hits and acts like a spring. The results would be unpredictable. Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk

Kamui's do you prefer tan or black?

I have played with both and my preference is tan/original. Kamui black are both harder and more bouncy (elastic) than the brown for a given hardness e.g. M. The Black has a smaller grain size resulting in it being smoother, so it it less good at holding chalk and it glazes more. When you shape...
