I didn't post any of the photos when i got them back. They are still the original nut plates- why would they need replacing, do they get stripped or something? Burlington is just outside of Toronto.

Thanks! I need to touch up the white lines a bit still and do a last polish on the corners. Veneer on the legs turned out beautiful and i got the rails to match the aprons so im pretty happy with it. Been playing non stop!

Well there it is. Finally done. Took a little longer than I thought it would but im extremely happy with how it turned out!

I too came back recently after a 20 year absence. I also had (still do) a meucci that I loved. I bought a predator shaft and found I adjusted very quickly to it. I alternated for a bit between my original shaft and the predator and found that I was more consistent with the pred.

Hey Steve I don't know about veneering right on top of formica, I would think that it would raise the profile of the rail which may be noticeable- I think you will find that sanding it off is a fairly easy job and gives you a virgin surface to work with. I will definitely post updates, I...
