Paul Allers makes a decent cue. I was surprised by the way the butterflies affected the balance in a good way. Easy to get adjusted. I may post this for sale if a local friend doesn't want it.

If you have a butterfly splice cue, post it here!! I just picked up my first Starkey. The end of the middle splice is both the actual balance point and the visual balance point on this cue. I was unsure if I'd like the contrasting point woods, but I am appreciating it more now that I have it...
