First, in my opinion, there are no" top quality cues" under $250.

Got one from Shannon D a couple weeks ago(he recommended it), put it on about a week ago and so far I really like it.

Top 9 actually

As usual, great tourny, 128 players, quite a few well known names. Had a great time as always.

Daniel lost to Larry, then lost to Josh Roberts, then Josh beat Shannon. Larry beat Rabon and then lost to Jared. Rabon then beat Brian White. When I left I think the 3 left in it were Larry Nevel, Josh Roberts, and Jared MgGee. Unless Scott Rabon made a great comeback on Josh.

Jay, Billy Ray Suden stayed at Jr's( Weldon's) place and played around Knoxville a while about 2-3 yrs ago. Don't know where he went when he left.

Saw Big Sam break out two table lights in the same tourny with his cueball during the break. He was pissed about something, and did it on purpose(I think). I know he could do it on cue if he wanted. Owner said he would bar him if it happened again.

The light over the table seems a little dimmer today, RIP Grady.

Dates are correct, if you are looking for info, it is "Smoky" not "Smokey". It is great, I go every year.

The Shootout is in Waynesville, NC. It is the last weekend of April. Great tourny, if you are looking for info, it is spelled Smoky Mountain. There is no E in Smoky. It is 128 players at 100$ each and it is already full of paid entries with a waiting list.:smile:
