How long will you play in a bad match before you quit?

I'll lose with dignity before being considered a quitter.

Quick and easy games for teenagers?

Since I have no idea how many will participate, I am thinking of spotting two object balls and counting how many shots it takes to make them. The top four moves to the second round with the same format to determine who wins the prizes. This is just to entertain the kids for an hour or so while...

Quick and easy games for teenagers?

Our family day event is coming up in a few weeks and I need some ideas to give away 4 prizes to our teens (12-15 years old) who attend. I don't know how many there will be but I need some type of pool game to have them compete in. I was thinking some type of 4 or 5 ball competition but I am...

i have problems with my mental game

A lot will disagree with me on this but you need to learn how to lose before you can learn how to win, mentally speaking of coarse. I play better when I'm not to keyed up, I play better when I'm in a good mood. I know a guy who I have seen snap his cue in half at least 4 times in the past few...

    Getting back in the game....

You are just a little rusty, I didn't play much for 25 years and it took me 8 or 10 months to get my game back. You need to shake the rust off. I wouldn't worry about it to much, this is a mental game so when that part comes back you should be fine.

    Shy but wants to play

You get over it by doing it, be friendly with the other players and you will be welcomed quicker then you realize. Have fun, it's a game. It took me a few months to get beyond the Newbie feeling but it will happen.

Is there one particular ball you like / dislike?

I play stripes better then solid colors, my eyes aren't what they used to be.

    Tom Ross medical condition

Keep the faith, a good friend had a major stroke six weeks ago and the prognosis was not good in the beginning, they did emergency surgery to relieve pressure on the brain. He is doing great these days so miracles do happen. My prayers go out to Tom, his family and friends!!

Tired of buzzed or drunk teammates.

You'll live longer if you don't worry about what the other guy does! If you can't take it, join another team or start your own.

Paralysis by analysis, this is going a bit to far. The last thing i'm thinking about is which hand to chalk with.
