    Kielwood Shaft Search

Just built a custom cue at the expo and requested one of their kielwood shafts to my specifications. I gave the maker one of my shafts to duplicate exactly what I like, long taper.

    Super billiards expo 2025

It looked odd to me also. Looked liked a 10x4 1/2 not 5.

Nobody knows where tariffs will end up in any particular moment. They aren't written in stone. They change daily.

    Quick super billiards expo review

Was there today. Yup, layout is completely different this year. Spoke to Stephen Janes at the Joss setup about building me a cue. Dan, his father, built one for me about 7 years ago. Asked him about making me a Bushka tribute in a box cue. Birdseye maple and Ebony butt using fall colors for the...

    Gold Crown 7 Revealed

Stil love GC's. To me they feel heavier, more solid, than a Diamond even though they weigh about the same. Put many hours in on a Gabriels 3 C table and would love to hit some on a Gabriels pocket billiard table. Would love to try Rasson also.

"It's the Indian, not the arrow" the most nonsense I've ever heard.....

The OP has multiple personalities, three that I know of.....so far.

"It's the Indian, not the arrow" the most nonsense I've ever heard.....

Other professional players if you pick the bar if course. Get a guy at 700 fargo walking into any bar you pick and he takes a cue off the wall, he'll beat anyone in there custom cue or not. I have a custom cue and the custom cue feels good in my hands and looks exactly the way I want it to look...

"It's the Indian, not the arrow" the most nonsense I've ever heard.....

Glad to hear Hans. It's the Indian not the arrow. It's about stroke and demeanor at the table, not about the alcohol consumed or the latest ultra ultra soft tip. The rails are your friends if you even know that means. Think inside english, which is called for more than you probably think.

"It's the Indian, not the arrow" the most nonsense I've ever heard.....

My cue is a custom, signed and dated, made to my specifications, leaving the cue maker creativity in the make. It is my everyday player. Planning on building a cue at the Expo this year. It will be signed and dated also and that one will be my new everyday player.

"It's the Indian, not the arrow" the most nonsense I've ever heard.....

Once took a two hour lesson from Earl Strickland. You sound like him. He told me that when he practices at tournaments all of the pros sit and watch him. He plays in poolrooms H, not bars, on 9 footers.

He'd still beat everyone in the room with a stick off the wall, which is my point.

Agreed, 100%. A true lights out player can take a stick off the wall and beat everyone in the room. Agreed 100% on this also. I think it is his 3rd sojourn here. Think Hank and Hans.

    History of a glove?

Because the skin on your fingers cannot feel the shaft. You feel the glove, never the shaft. I understand some players have sweaty hands. Now they have sweaty gloves.

    Tip maintenance questions

Love the guy that miscues badly and immediately looks at the tip of his cue to determine what is wrong with his tip that made him miscue. Blame it on the tip, not that you came out of the shot.

    Plastic lifts for glasses review.

You get them specifically for distance only, not close up. Your eye Doc will know. The distance from your eyes to your bridge hand is actually covered by distance only contacts. You do need readers for close up such as looking at your phone. Sort of like getting new lenses after cataract surgery...
