    Basement Visitor

Put him in action Roy! We working stiffs need a working class pool fool to get behind!

Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that Predator paints some of their cues, instead of using real woods.

With the volume of cues they must move, it's hard to see how they couldn't be painting wood. I don't think most Predator buyers care or know about the woods anyway.

Nice offering Martin. It looks like the 2nd and 3rd pics here are of the other Cohen cue you listed.

    Robert Harris

Why does ATX Trading have another username in Jason's screenshot here? I just noticed that. My guess is the name was changed but find the timing suspicious.

    Weather check............

I feel the same way once acclimated here. Can't stay warm when it dips below 50 here, fortunately I adjust ok when going to a cold climate.

    Weather check............

Mid 70s today on the Gulf Coast of Florida. When it gets down to 65 here we'll see the winter caps and coats.

    Billy Thorpe gone wild!

I'm thinking that 800k count includes the Cincinnati area. Thanks for getting the numbers right as always.

    Moving to Venice Fl

I played there once, believe they have Gandys with one or two which have tightened pockets. The location is in a warehouse district so it's easy to miss. But give it a shot as it's a good place to try out. Edit: I see two brands of tables; not sure what make the lighter color ones are.

    Moving to Venice Fl

It's a bit of a trip but Veterans in Port Charlotte is smoke free and has 9 footers. Cool place to play. Not sure what the league scene is there so you'd have to look into it.

    Tournaments while wearing masks

I would consider playing in one if I can wear a neck gaitor. It's much more comfortable for pool than the mask. A few hours of practice might be ok with the mask, but more than that and I don't think they are healthy for us.

Who Makes Good Hit Radial Pin Cue/Butt?

There is a Pat Diveney butt on Facebook Open Billiards Market now. I have not owned one of his cues but they are popular and have a friend on here who loves them.

    Corey Barnhart Cues

Excellent cues in my opinion. His work is very clean and he makes simple players cues well too. They are stiff hitting, his shaft taper is among the stiffest I've owned. I believe he cores his cues, so they're pretty consistent. Shafts are standard 29.5 inch. They hold value pretty well so...

    Beat my draw!

Nice stroke. Low left extreme draw for me = jump miscue off the table. Who's on the soundtrack, Soilwork?

Do good players play with full Ivory ferrules?

I had seen that DZ study too and validated my experience with Ivorine 4. It also attracted chalk easily, so I wasn't a fan of that material.

Mike Stacey on the chopping block

I agree, cool simple look on this cue. I'd be interested in one of these. Thought I heard Mike worked in the restaurant business so he'd be familiar with Boos.

Do good players play with full Ivory ferrules?

Interesting old thread here. Of cues I've owned, the highest deflecting had an Ivorine 4 ferrule. Have owned ivory and don't think they deflect much more than other 1 inch ferrules (assuming the shaft isn't bored out). I've found it's more about ferrule length in cues I've used.

Hand size vs cue butt size?

I agree with Mr. Webb. I played for a long time with a cue around 1.22 and now play with a thicker butt. I think my stroke has improved. My hands are nowhere near yours but they are not small either.
