Jerry's Billiards, Pasadena, CA - Another one biting the dust?

Unfortunately most pool room owners don’t police their patrons. Maybe they can’t afford to throw out all drunks and scumbags.

    Golden Fleece rumor

That’s not the way most of the world operates. You have unions, you can be the worst of the worst and still get best of the best pay. There’s government pay scales, same thing applies. You can be a horrible CEO and make big bucks. Instructors charge what their market will pay.

    Evan Lunda... INSANE cut...!!

Roberto Gomez did it in this year’s tournament at Buffalo’s. I’ve made the same shot several times, JoeyA made it against me. Evan’s shot was the first time I’ve seen it in a big tournament.

    Golden Fleece rumor

My ATP Type ratings allows me to give lessons in the aircraft I’m rated in, even though I’m not a certified instructor. I have trained low time pilots in specific aircraft, that includes Hawker, Lear-Jet, Beechjet, and Sabreliners. There’s plenty of certified instructors that don’t know $hit.

    Golden Fleece rumor

Tony’s FargoRate is 776. He didn’t get that playing 1P so I’d say he has plenty to offer.

Did Mark Wilson finally kill "aiming systems" ?

Tiger Woods received lessons even when no one one planet was on par with him. Knowledge is completely different than talent and execution. I know I fall short on all three😝

    Golden Fleece rumor

Soon after I landed at BFI I drove to Everett. When I walked into the Golden Fleece there was one guy practicing so I asked him to play some cheap 1P. Somehow I played pretty well that day and won our little match up. About 3 years after that I walked into Black Diamond in Spokane. Some idiot...

    Golden Fleece rumor

I was just in Philly for work and went to Markley Billiards. In the afternoon five 9’ tables were being played on and one BB. In the evening when the 9 ball tournament was taking place was the only time the bb were going In Spokane and Couer d Alene the one 9’ table doesn’t get used much

Pool? If you can only play one game?

Sorry I missed you yesterday. That corner table has some bad roll offs. I wish the owners would learn how to level the Diamond tables.

    tight pockets bad for pool?

I’m at the pool room practicing and in walks a group of beginners and D players. Of course the pick the 4 1/8 table right next to me. I ask the D player, you know this tables has super tight pockets, he said yea we play on this table all the time. On the other side of me is the B and C players...

Pool? If you can only play one game?

On the four railers I like to spin the CB three rails back up table. I’m in Philly right now if you want to play some

Pool? If you can only play one game?

The same thing can be said about 1P, then multiple that by 10. Now you’re talking about needing a complete game. How many times in 14.1 are you needing 3, 4, or 5 rail banks.

    Shane vs. Fedor

I understand all that and 7’ Diamonds are no joke, they are tough tables. I’ve never heard of action table associated with 7’ tables. The action tables are normally the tighter tables at the pool room.

    Shane vs. Fedor

Yes they do, but who considers 7’ tables “Action Tables” 🤣 I seriously doubt they will be playing on the bar box🎱
