I believe I have pretty equal distribution of different english usage. Most common plain high english but I seem to use more high inside than outside. Next is half tip outside english with just a little draw. I think my playing is more balanced with english usage than any other player i know. :D

YES! I have been saying this years and nobody listen! (except Tinman also says stroke mechanics are overrated!) They matter but mostly we miss because we estimate something wrong at aiming..

This thread actually made me do little practice on subject. I like this setup because it is easy to set up exactly same time after time. This cut is very slight. I have used it with students and 90% of them overcut it and have a lot problems with it before giving them tips how to use cueball...

yes. close to 700 . My eye would say 680. But that is just offensive game. Maybe lack of safety skills keep fargo lower. I don´t know. My safety play was very bad. Now it is way better due playing 3-cushion but I feel it is still so inconsistent part of my game even I practice it a lot more.

I use same method that i use all almost straight in shot(or straight in). I focus cueball movement after hit. Let´s say you have very slight cut to left. I focus (on stun) that cueball have to move to left after contact, just barely but movement need to be there for perfect cut. Combinations...

I would argue it looks hair thicker than half ball for me. Hard to say unless see is cue over side pocket or not.. 😁

He played also without any ball in hand and lost. I tried to play to 21 without any ball in hand(1/1 2024) but my back pain had a bad day and i had to quit while i was 7-6 up. Could be easily 9-4 but made bad mistakes on last 2 and then i had to quit because back.. I used Matchroom breaks too :)

Actually it is opposite. Harder facings make that happen what you describe there. "double/triple shimmed" are 2 normal rubber facings glued to one. That combo is usually harder than one rubber same thickness. I had double shimmed pockets on my table and I changed those same thickness one piece...
