    Is the Break Shot Overrated?

the lower the skill level, the less important the break. there will be several innings and in the end, the break will have mattered very little. for professionals though, it's hugely important.

How do you cross-bank this shot

With cross banks like this I think there's a "maximum amount" you can cut them back and still put enough energy into the ball to make it to the other side of the table. I think this guy just has a feel for it and knows he wouldn't be able to "overcut" it.

    BK RUSH break cue

There's nothing magic about it, but I went from an OB break stick to the rush and it seems like it has more pop. I like the tip it comes with because it's really hard but can chalk up and control a little bit. I'm sure some of the other brands are just as good

Somewhere in the world where the politicians didn't panic

Sweden is gonna be the country to look at. They haven't shut down, apart from some basic social distancing guidelines, so it will be interesting to see how they fair. If they come out of this without looking too much worse than other Scandinavian or European countries, then it looks like most of...

    Any cue will do

I always say the tip is the most important part and the further away from the tip, the less it matters

    Is Pool Truly Dying Globally?

I think it just needs a spark like what happened to poker around the 2000's. A movie or documentary or new player that's really exciting.

    Back to Wood?

I have a cynergy. I like it but there's nothing magic about it compared to wood. The deflection isn't much different than a 314-3 imo. The reason I'm sold on it is not having to worry about warping, dings, sandpaper, etc. just wipe down with alcohol every once in a while and it's perfectly...

Folks Asking About Tips Used By Pros

Lol I'm the one that started the Josh filler tip thread. I wasn't asking "what's best." I just wanted to know what he was using because I wanted to try a new tip and I figure why not try what one of the best is using? Seems unreasonable not to just answer the question if you know or ignore if...

Anyone know what tip Josh Filler is using?

inb4 it's the indian not the arrow inb4 whatever they're paid to use inb4 don't worry about what the pros are using

CJ Wiley presents Mental Game Secrets to Getting in the ZONE

will watch, thanks. a book that helped me a lot with mental game was "Golf is not a Game of Perfect" by Bob Rotella. Some of the things were so simple, but the way he explained them really made it stick

    3D Printed Pool Objects

is the point of this to put on the table as a sort of reference as to how low you can go?

I miscue on this shot a LOT, for years.

Just a guess but it looks like deceleration was your problem there. If you stop following through, especially on a long stroke, the tip is gonna dip down

How would you run this rack?

Your videos are great. I think it would be helpful if you had a video focused on patterns where the cb has to go from one side of the table to the other. I feel like a lot of my runs break down on shots where I have to go from near one short rail to the other short rail. Apologies if you've...

    Revo more deflection????

Would love to know the physics behind "the Revo will roll a ball further before it deflects."

Mizerak + Mosconi: Dominant left eye directly over shotline

imo it's not necessary. i used to strain to get my left eye over the shot line, but it feels more natural to just get down on the shot somewhere in between. you can still get used to seeing the shot line this way.

Mark Wilson Pool Clinc on YouTube

I think the main takeaway is that pros don't "fight" their backswing by thrusting forward until the backswing has stopped. I doubt he actually timed a bunch of pros and averaged it out
