I agree with all of the recommendations posted so far and have watched and learned from everyone mentioned.
I keep coming back to "A Pool Lesson with Jerry Briesath (Mark Wilson also involved)" 3 disc series. I play a little better every time I watch it. Worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
They don't use standard flowchart type brackets for this tourney, instead there is a redraw every round. The results, current matches and upcoming matches can be found on their webpage here http://results.derbycityclassic.com

Lots of good folks left us too soon.
Chad Pollman aka BigNasty. Some will remember Chad as being one of the founders of TAR (The Action Report). Chad was a friend of mine and truly a unique guy. Passed away in June of 2012.
If the rule is that just "touching" a ball is a foul, I don't see how the overhead video posted in this thread could determine that. It would seem a sideview angle would be necessary to see a touch, which is where Shane was located.
Regarding the reference to the Shane / Alcano match posted. I...
I don't think you'd see a rules violation from a referee such as this happen in any comparable playoff or championship game of a major sport.
I'm not sure if randomly racking the balls would have changed the outcome, Carlo Biado played great, but it can't be argued that not pattern racking...

I have a 12.5 on order, hopefully we will hear something soon.

Props for not letting want to be moderators get under your skin, conveys much about your character. I will be awaiting your review and if you choose to post it somewhere besides this thread, please put a post here with its location.
Looks like a problem with audiovideoweb, the streaming provider. None of the purchase links or returning login links are working for me in chrome or safari.
Finally had a chance to hit some balls with Shane's cuetec CF (carbon fiber) last night and was really impressed with how it played, it felt solid, I liked the thin white ferrule and it didn't make the tink sound like my Revo 12.9 does.
After playing with the same George cue w/universal brand...
