    Any Lighting Experts on AZB?

I have two 1x4 LED panels placed end to end. They are attached to the ceiling over my 9 ft table. Tons of good light. Much better than the old Brunswick florescent light I had.

Numbers on Valley Supreme Cues? Not the weight

I had same question, so I called Valley. The letter stands for a month, A January, B February, C March etc. and the number is production year. 14 is 2014 , 0 is 2010 etc.. Valley said prior to 2005 they made cues in house, after that they were outsourced. Hope this helps. Nice cues.

    No lights over tablets?

I have two LED panels, each 1' x 4' ft, hung end to end off the rafters over my table. Lots of good light, would never go back to old style lights. Had an old Brunswick light. Have a 9 ft table in the basement. Got the LED panels at Home Depot.

my ongoing saga of achieving a decent 9 ball break

I have the Predator break speed app on my phone. All my cues generate about the same cue ball speed, break cues or playing cues. Maybe 5% difference. Seems to me it's all about accuracy and technique. Get the app and give different cues a try. Good luck.

I have several Purex HXT shafts, both 12.75 and skinny. Play well, good solid hit. I prefer them to other brands of LD shafts.

    Cataract Surgery

I went with mono focus. Having used bifocals before surgery, I had found looking down stairs difficult, blurry. Good way to take a tumble. Plus mono lens are much cheaper, medicare covered them. I had one eye done and the whole surgery took less than 30 min. from leaving pre-op to back in...

    Predator/Lucasi joint compatibility

From my experience they are all exactly the same, Lucasi - Predator. Same machines probably make all of them, as has been said they are made in the same plant.

    Deposit for custom cue build

Visit the Schmelke or Prather websites. See what cue building materials costs, butt blanks with veneers, rings, linen, joint pins, etc. Figure how much the builder has in material costs, then you decide what is fair.
