I did the same thing. After reading the cue components article, I am skeptical as to who is selling genuine Moori's and who is selling fakes. That's why I had started the thread. Can I just go on eBay and be assured they are all selling genuine Moori's?

After some reading online, I noticed there are some issues with fake moori tips. Does anyone know where I can purchase a few real moori tips? Also, are there different models of the moori tips? Thank you.

Sapele pommele. I have found a place that has some ok pieces but none are 27+inches and none are as figured or quilted as much as I want. Does anyone know where I could find something? The pieces I found are 20-30.00. I would pay double or more for the right piece. Any help would be great...

Does the stabilization of woods negatively effect the hit on modern cues? Are most cue woods being stabilized?

It's Jimmy Wetch's place. It's on 65 north of minneapolis. Old school place and its 10.00 for all day!!! It's one of the last real pool halls around, imho.
