Thank you again. Ed ended up in the the Vegas area, I believe he was not active there, to my understanding he mostly hustled pool back in the day. I briefly looked up those archives, most don't go back that far, I'll have to further investigate as time permits. I never inherited Ed's pool...

Thank you for your reply. Shane over at the BCA referred me to this forum as the good resource, as this predates him. That would be Ed "Skip" Rommel, To my understanding he was well known around mentioned areas especially in the 40's early 50's, not sure exactly when he returned to California.

Found this (again) while cleaning out a family estate. Was curious to it's origin (tournament(s)?), or if these were issued by the Billiard Congress of America. Possibly was from the Great Lakes area (Detroit, Cleveland Buffalo or Pittsburgh), or possibly Los Angeles.
